There are zero regulations in North America regarding the manufacturing of adult novelty products. This means that there are no rules regarding what materials can and cannot be used or how products are designed. By using the term "novelty", companies have skirted health regulations by not classifying as a "health product", despite these products obviously being used for our sexual health.
